- Open the second email. It is separate from your invitation. Tap its Sign in to LeftForLater button to finish signing in.
- Approve sharing. In People, review the request and choose whether to approve, decline, or block.

If this address has an account or current invitation, a sign-in email is on its way. Open that email and tap Sign in to LeftForLater to verify your email address.
This is a second email, separate from your invitation. You haven’t finished joining yet. After signing in, the final step is to review the request in People and choose Approve sharing, Decline, or Block.
Look for “Sign in to LeftForLater” in your inbox or spam folder. The sign-in link lasts 2 hours and works once.
Requesting another sign-in link keeps your invitation. If you’ve requested several links recently, you may need to wait up to an hour before requesting another.
Opening an invitation does not accept a friend request. You choose whether to accept.

Enable easy iPhone sharing
Share links directly from Reddit, YouTube, Safari, and other apps without copying and pasting. This requires a one-time setup using Apple’s free Shortcuts app.
- Tap Install LeftForLater Shortcut.
- Review the Shortcut and tap Add Shortcut.
- When browsing Reddit or another supported app, tap Share.
- Find LeftForLater in the Share menu (under More if necessary).
- Choose your friends and tap Share quietly.
Don’t see LeftForLater? In Shortcuts, open LeftForLater’s Details and turn on Show in Share Sheet. You may also need to enable it under Edit Actions in the iPhone Share menu.
This Shortcut opens leftforlater.com. Sign in in the browser it opens.
Troubleshooting: manual setup
If you can’t install the shared Shortcut, you can build it manually in Apple’s Shortcuts app:
- Create a shortcut named LeftForLater. Open its Details and enable Show in Share Sheet. Accept URLs, Safari web pages, and Text.
- Add Get URLs from Input, using Shortcut Input.
- Add Get Item from List and choose First Item.
- Add URL Encode to encode that first URL.
- Add a Text action. Type
https://leftforlater.com/?share=then insert the URL Encoded Text variable immediately after the equals sign, without spaces or a new line. - Add Open URLs using that Text.

Email summaries
How would you like to see things your friends share? You can change this whenever you like.
No instant share notifications. No empty summaries.
Correct a shared title
If a title is missing or you want to correct one, choose a link you shared. This changes its title for your recipients, keeps your personal message, and sends no notification.
Share using your email app
Friends can send links to your sharing address. Only approved senders can add links to your feed.

Two quick choices, then you’re ready to browse.
1. Choose who can share with you
Approved friends can leave recommendations quietly in your feed. No individual share notifications. They cannot see whether you open anything, and they aren’t notified if you decline or block sharing.
You can stop or hide someone’s recommendations at any time in People.
You can leave any request undecided and review it later in People.
2. Choose how to discover new recommendations
Your feed is always here whenever you want to browse. Optional digests summarize only new recommendations from people you approve. We never send empty summaries.
No emails is the default. Choosing an email frequency and confirming it requests those summaries. You can change it in Settings anytime.
